Unwind Your Mind: 8 Weeks of Healing & Community

Hello, Dear Warrior.

Living with the constant mental, physical and spiritual stress of endometriosis, PMDD (Premenstrual dysphoric disorder) and chronic illness is exhausting. (If you are wondering how I know, read to the bottom.)

Despite being a totally kick-ass, amazing person with a shining heart, can you relate to any of the following?

  • Life on a emotional rollercoaster?

  • Straining relationships with family, friends & coworkers?

  • Rage?

  • Depression? Anxiety?

  • Disconnection from your purpose?

  • A sense of betrayal by your body?

  • Inability to concentrate?

  • Isolation?

  • Fried nervous system?

  • On edge or jumpy?

  • Totally lost?

  • A list of never-ending physical symptoms?

  • Hopeless?

  • Brian fog?

  • Exhaustion?

I know. Me too. But, there is hope. You have the resources and wisdom right inside you to release your beautiful self from the grips of constant stress with the elegance of your breath & the power of just one thought at a time. Really, you do!

Over the course of 8 weeks, we will work to unwind the constant stress locked in our bodies and minds using the science, art & spirit of yogic philosophy. We will explore mindfulness strategies to embrace when we need to call our spirits home and ground into the peaceful places in our body.

A Kaleidoscope of Healing with 5MEnery

Since starting my own wellness practice, I have created what I call the 5MEnery. It is like a little checklist of tools for keeping my system on track. The 5 M's are Mantra, Mudra, Meditation, Movement & Meetings. Like the colors in a kaleidoscope, a combination of colors are there, but how we use them creates a different image. 5MEnergy practice mix and match different strategies or focuses on just one. Each M plays a vital role in keeping the nervous system calm, focusing energy in a healthy way, and allowing inner joy to shine through on the hard days.

Mantra, Mudra, Meditation: The Power of Thought

Using the power of thought and our breath as fuel, we will use mantras, mudras and meditation tools to cultivate peace throughout our physical, mental & spiritual bodies.

Movement: Let It Go

We will also test out very simple movements sequences created to release the issues & energy that gets stored in our body.Keep the movement, mantras, mudras and mediations like and add them to your personal practice.

Meeting: Community is the Way

Illness gains power when we are isolated. Healing happens in community. Meeting together for live meetings where we can talk and share is critical to our process.

How We Will Gather:

We will create a space to meet via Google Classrooms to share material and meet LIVE through Google every week from 7 - 8:30 PM.
